Paperlogue by Song, Kwangik

“Paper Logue” is the first solo exhibition by the South-Korea artist SONG, Kwangik, whose innovative approach to his art challenges the conventional ideas of painting and sculpture, by combining abstraction, spatiality and his culture background using acrylic paint and Hanji. To highlight the characteristics of this precious material, the artist applies paint onto the surface of the backside of the paper, therefore, to allow the paint to penetrate the paper slowly.
