Ghost Mountain Field: Chop Suey

Chop Suey is the first solo exhibition of Hong Kong artist Ghost Mountain Field, which is a classic example of cultural hybridization. Using it as an exhibition title is a reference to Hong Kong’s mixed culture. It has a profound impact on the creative process of the artist and reflects his exploration of cultural concepts through his artistic identity.

The exhibition contains both studios works and murals, inviting the audience to immerse in the artist’s unique aesthetic consciousness, due to his extensive use of second and third colors, exquisite brushstrokes and the cultural reference of different eras and contemporary Life is juxtaposed and conceived. These elements add interest and uniqueness to his artistic exploration in culture and identity.
