Eric Fok – Notes on the Future

“Notes on the Future” is a solo exhibition by artist Eric Fok showcases paintings that lies in the way various historical eras amalgamate into a single work. Each painting not only draws viewers into its fine details, often best appreciated through a magnifying glass, but also through the meticulously executed, authentic period architecture, the subject of intensive research and study. In this new body of work, Fok has also perfected his technique on painting on wood and is clearly embracing this new medium – a total of five pieces of wooden paneled works are the most he ever created for one exhibition.
