Clown’s Way

“Clown’s Way” is the first solo show ever by contemporary Swiss artist John Armleder in Hong Kong The humor, satire and creativity in Armleder’s creations all show the characteristics of Fluxus. The famous Swiss artist paid attention to and questioned his abstract references, extending his exploration and analysis of the relationship between art, objects and movements. He transformed the concept of object into art through creation; and his strokes became the decisive medium, allowing Armleder to challenge the subject’s aesthetic routine and conduct research around self-awareness, otherness, authorship and self-image.
