Michel Pérez Pollo: Perfume

Perfume is a solo exhibition with a new series of works by the Cuban artist Michel Pérez Pollo which explored the formal and conceptual characteristics of perfume bottle caps as a medium of pleasure and beauty and combined physical objects with his specific objects in the process. And expressionist style. The resulting symbolic situations and objects depicted in the image space present a surreal poetic effect.

When observing the scale of the work, the relationship between motivation and organic matter is revealed through the exploration of smell and vision, so that the inherent subtle connection between nature and perfume becomes visible. Therefore, Pollo’s painting reflects reflection on a level beyond the formal characteristics of perfume bottles.
